Sohum Kolharkae

Sohum started his physical therapy at BP&HT when he was 14 months old. We were getting help in developing Sohum’s physical and motor skills. He used to roll, it was his primary mode to move around. To start crawling was the first major goal for him.

We got a lot of help from therapy since we started. The knowledge and tips were very useful to help him get started in acquiring the necessary skills. Both Shannon and Heidi worked with him really hard to achieve his goals. He showed a lot progress since the therapy but was not crawling. We were seeing Heidi every week for therapy. Finally, after a therapy session with Heidi working on crawling skills, he crawled a few steps at home. We were so happy to see him crawl but it didn’t follow afterwards. He was back to rolling.

Just a week ago, we were again at our therapy session and trying really hard to help him start crawling. After that session, when I was working on the crawling skills with Sohum, I found him crawling on his own. He was up on his fours and started crawling around. I was overjoyed looking at him. He is now 16 months and is crawling around. It would not have been possible without the help of Shannon and Heidi. Thank you so much!
